TREES
I'm glad Marty choose this to sing on the show.......It's a catchy and stick in your head song. It's not my favorite but a great sing along song. Love the guitar in this song and love watching how much fun Marty has on stage with this and seeing the countless times he has pulled up the children during this song is priceless!

Trees is STILL a very strong song to use for Street Teaming. I've heard ALLOT of people, say it's been too long. But we must remember, Marty's mug was plastered ALL over television for 3 to 4 nights a WEEK here, and how many times did they play TREES over over and over again. Millions upon Millions of people heard the song, and guess what?...THEY LOVED IT...... IF we could get this song heard more by those MILLIONS, we are looking at a Gold here.....It's NOT too late to promote this song, and to get it out there. Once they hear the Lovehammers, they will be just addicted as me?.....ok ok ok, they'll love them and buy their CD's and Tote's!!!!........ Anyone else wanna put in a review for this one? I'm gonna change up songs soon

Here is the next song:
BULLETHOLES
Disintegrate the pearly gates I need to see you, I’m coming through Decide my fate on a later date Nothing's gonna stop me from saving you
Bulletholes in my soul I’m here getting wasted Bulletholes in my soul Maybe we can make it I don't know
Why does he have the strength to devastate And murder the beauty he creates Gonna bring you back if it’s the last thing I ever do Gonna bring you back to me I swear to God – I swear to God – I swear
Watch me bleed Bulletholes in my soul Let me bleed I’m here getting wasted Watch me bleed Bulletholes in my soul Maybe we can make it I don't know
I’m missing you I’m loving you Wanna die for you Dive into you
I’m missing you I’m loving you Wanna die for you Dive into you
Wanted for a long time Taking what was once mine Wanted for a long time Now I’m taking over Wanted for a long time Taking what was once mine Wanted for a long time Now I’m taking over
Now I’m taking over Now I’m taking over Now I’m taking over Now I’m taking over I wanna die for you
Wanna die for you

This song brings allot to allot. Music seems like it fits people, their needs, their memories, their fun- it's a personal experience. With Bulletholes, I believe it's a song for everyone, to feel the same general power of I’m missing you, I’m loving you, Wanna die for you, Dive into you..... September 11th, I wanted to do something special, I asked Shy to make a memorial video for the victims and Bullteholes...She did well, it looked awesome, it showed Marty in the background with the names of all the people that died that day.....Here is the link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Le3uSDfU5V0For me, its just that universal song that touches you, gives ya that strength, and of course, it's beauty surmounds words. BULLETHOLES
I have lost many loved ones in my short life span and this song reminds me of each and every one of them. And every time I hear it I get teary eyed.
Another reason this song means so much to me is the boys are brilliant all in their own right. Whether it’s the way they use their instruments or the way they write their songs. The beginning of the song just goes right thru me and this feeling just comes over me and I start to feel the tears start to well up before Marty even begins to sing. And the way Marty sings this song just pierces right through me. He really knows how to drive this song with his soft voice on parts of the song and then knows how to build the song to drive it home!
Here are some of the words from the song that I just can’t help but feel so emotional when I hear them. (Okay, so it’s pretty much the whole dang song, just minus the chorus, LOL!)
Disintegrate the pearly gates I need to see you, I'm coming through Decide my fate on a later day Nothing's gonna stop me from saving you
Why does he have the strength to devastate? Murder the beauty he creates Gonna bring you back if it's the last thing I ever do Gonna bring you back to me I swear to God, I swear to God, I swear
I'm missing you, and I'm loving you And I wanna die for you, dive into you I'm missing you, and I'm loving you And I wanna die for you, dive into you
I wanna die for you

I don't know why I haven't posted in here before, I love reading it though. I love the different ways this music weaves it's way through our lives. A long time ago I was posting in a thread at lh.com about Bulletholes and I still feel the same way so I am going to copy it here:
"Decide my fate on a later day" knocks me off my feet every time I think about it. To be so caught up in what you are doing that you let go of everything that you normally think of as important. It all falls away in the light of this action that you HAVE to do and you cannot be concerned with the consequences. I dig that. Letting go, letting go of all that doesn't matter - freedom to be present...freedom to create your reality...It's a damn good song.
For real, yo.

Rain On The Brain
The pieces fall slowly away Did I fail to mention The reason for my laughter 'times I feel like my mind is going insane I am barely breathing Searching for some comfort 'times it feels like it's raining on my brain
The pieces fall slowly away And I need you to comfort my pain
Did I fail to mention Life is moving faster 'times I feel like my mind is going to break I'm losing feeling No longer dream in color 'times I feel like it's raining on my brain
The pieces fall slowly away And I need you to comfort my pain
Memories of you still stand strong Memories of me were gone all along
The pieces fall slowly away And I need you to comfort my pain
Time's the only question Time's the only answer And I wonder what is going on Say that you'll never leave me Say that you'll never leave me 'times I feel like it's raining on my brain

Rain on the Brain~ Perfect song.... The pieces fall slowly away, (oh yes, they are....) 'times I feel like my mind is going insane (too many things going on) Searching for some comfort (yep, i agree) Life is moving faster 'times I feel like my mind is going to break I'm losing feeling No longer dream in color 'times I feel like it's raining on my brain (trying to deal and sort through things) Time's the only question Time's the only answer (Time is what will decide what will happen) I this song.....It is freaking Amazing how Lovehammers lyrics get me.

Bulletholes, love that song because how Marty says about the first time LH played it.
Also, it takes me to how much, I loved my Grandfather and how when he died, I was completely devastated...it took me forever to get over that pain.
