spread the love everyday not just today! gotta love how they commericialize it to make money! I totally agree. Just about fell off the couch the other day when Future Shop said they're gifts were ready for the loved one in your life...like a digital camera, and i-pod or a new phone? I thought what a bunch of malarky. Nothing says "I love you" like a new flat screen tv..lol. That is not what Valentines Day is about....and yet ppl buy into it. Commercialism/stores are making every special day their "ka-ching" day. With that being said....Got my groove thang on and wishing everyone a Happy Spread the Love Day!!

Oh, I don't cook. They have yet to put the directions correct on boxes of Mac & Cheese, the simple fact that it tastes like shit without draining the water BEFORE adding the cheese, would work in a lot of cases in attempts of cooking a meal. I did try to make a Ham last Christmas. That dammed plastic was soooo thin, it could have been anyone's mistake to not take it off before baking it. Have ya ever smelled burned ham on Christmas afternoon Levis? It's NOT pretty. My kids cook, they have since they were very very young. Sort of like a natural survivor skill that God implanted into them, since He done forgot to put that skill into my brain after all, I DO try.

But, Lemon Cake is my favorite Birthday cake ever! My Mom used to make it for me before she passed away and/or got sick a few years back, I'd always have a Lemon Cake baked. Bless her heart, she didn't cook very well either, and it was always fun to see how many egg shells I could crunch into and not show my surprise to her, and be OHHHHH THIS IS THE BEST ONE YET Mom......*sigh*
I was good ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
