First, I think you can only see the videos w/ Mozilla, w/ IE7 or other you just see an image from the video.
There were several sets of directions given so I put them in one place. They are worded a little differently, but all should work so pick the one that makes the most sense to you.
Set 1:
Here's how to do it in easy terms:
1. Put this in as your AV link: img.youtube.com/###/1.jpg
2. Find the youtube video you want.
3. Copy all the stuff after the = sign in the navigation bar. For example: From img.youtube.com/vi/?=Ul0-nvx9TW you would copy Ul0-nvx9TW
(Note: Not an actual link, just for an example)
4. Put what you copied into your AV link where the ### is. Leave everything else alone (for now)
5. Change your AV settings to Height 80, width 100
6. Check it out! If you don't like the thumnail image then change the last part 1.jpg to 2.jpg or 3.jpg and see if you get an image you like. Example: img.youtube.com/###/2.jpg
Set 2:
1. pick a video and copy the URL
youtube.com/watch?v=FHDsBLsyh40
2. add img. to the beginning
img.youtube.com/watch?v=FHDsBLsyh40
3. take out the watch?v= and add vi/
img.youtube.com/vi/FHDsBLsyh40
4. add /2.jpg to the end
img.youtube.com/vi/FHDsBLsyh40/2.jpg
5. put the image size to: width-100 and height-80
Set 3
1. Here is what it should look like in the END: img.youtube.com/vi/lU0-nvx9TWU/2.jpg
2. Find your YouTube video that you like, ON YouTube.
3. Look up in the navigation window at the link on YouTube. It will look like this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=lU0-nvx9TWU
4. COPY everything after the =. It would then be JUST this: lU0-nvx9TWU
5. Put that after this img.youtube.com/vi/
6. Don't forget to put at THE END /2.jpg
7. Adjust the width to 100
8. Adjust the height to 80
Set 4 (rom the author of the code)
If you wanted to use the video at youtube.com/watch?v=FB2WUSvQStg then the url to the default thumbnail for that video would be img.youtube.com/vi/FB2WUSvQStg/2.jpg.
Then you want to adjust the AV height and width
