I have found that you need to clear your temporary internet files everyday if you have been requesting new friends on MySpace. Each page that loads on your computer saves each link on their page, and after you have loaded hundreds each day to request friends, there are thousands of links saved every day. Everyone is doing a great job with the HammerCrew State by State project! I love what everyone has done with their pages!

I'm surprised Nancy still has her computer - she's been wanting to throw it out the window for the last several days! ;D ;D ;D ;D Defragging might help. But considering how often you are on the internet, I'm not surprised you might need to clean out your files a couple of times a week. But you should check one other thing. Double click on My Computer (on your desktop). Right click on Local Drive (C:). Go down the menu and select Properties. There will be a listing of Used Space and Free space. Write both of those numbers down. You might be running out of room on your hard drive. If you've got a newer laptop, that's probably not likely, but it doesn't hurt to check it out. HY, it has a very somewhat closed mouth pac man pic in there.... ;D... Could it be I have tooo many pics and gifs on my laptop??? Nancy, I will do the defrag too and Jodi, temp files on the disk cleanup has a huge freakin number next to it. Back to wk...

Oh my Rachael! You need to start deleting as many pictures as you can and also any documents you don't need. Hopefully you can do this before your mouse goes as then you have to start manually doing it. It might take a lot of deleting but you will start to gain disk space. Also keep cleaning out your recycle bin as you go. Once you can get it back up from 2% to 15% then try to defragment again. Fingers crossed for you!!

Yes Rachael. Since you have all the pics you've downloaded up in Photobucket - you don't need to keep them on your hard drive. If you don't want to get rid of them completely, then burn a bunch of them to a CD and then delete them from your hard drive. And, as Gail said, make sure you empty your recycle bin regularly!

Rachael - I have a travel drive/thumb drive/external memory stick with 8GB on it to keep all the pictures on. That way I don't have to clog up my hard drive memory with pictures of Marty, ooops, I mean the band.

ISA - go to Best Buy and get one of these. I had my hard drive die on me a few months ago. Lost everything. Put all the really important stuff (pics, etc.) on there. I have found that the pictures lose some quality when you put them in the photobuckets. So if you want to keep the originals, this is the best bet or cds. For the cost, this really is a good option.
