Out of the vocab words they had last year, they used jejune (usually before I was about to call them that one would tell another to stop being jejune) and balderdash the most...but one always mispronounced it and would say balderbash.
Lord help us all, the coaches have allowed them to name an intramural team "NADS"...so we know what they will all be yelling in the stands...GO...Yep...that will be classy. I'm surprised they didn't shoot that name down. Another team had came up with somit tacky, but they're not using it. Thank Heaven!

Just wait until the first game with parents in attendance - they'll probably be changing the name soon after.

I'm waiting for them to make them change it...perhaps I should ask the coach in charge if he's stopped to think about what they will be yelling....I wonder if the administrators are aware of that. Parents don't come to these games usually - they're held at lunch.
I really wouldn't want to see the final game being between the Nads and members of the faculty...*UGH*. I wonder if I could impress on the one over the intras that that's not a good thing no matter how funny they think it is...I wouldn't want any disgrace since the money goes for the Relay For Life.

The irony of this whole conversation on a board for a band called LOVEHAMMERS just hit me like a ton of bricks!
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
One of my kids asked, "What's a Lovehammer?"...the other day...I've been a little off the beam this week...One of my good ones spouted off "It's a band." thankfully before anyone else could chime in. I've got one rowdy bunch on my hands this year and they've been dragging my mind into the gutter with theirs sometimes!

Today's winner was selected by Cheza. The person she selected was chosen because "she further enlightened and complicated things with her more thorough definition!" ;D So - today's Win, Win, Win, Win winner is: Our own HY! HY - you win an autographed postcard to add to your collection of Lovehammers memorabilia. Okay HY - what's the next word going to be? Maybe we should use a more commonly used word this time - since tomorrow is Saturday and there is no school. #cheer# #cheer# ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Congrats, HY!

Thank you, thank you. I love to complicate things. I hope I didn't obfuscate things too much! ;D ;D ;D For the next word - I will have to think about this a bit. I'll be back with a common word, but one that we don't use too often here.
