I really need to move to Chicago Let's go Karen. .....I'm with ya darlin' Step one in STALKING 101: 1. Wear a disguise preferably with sunglasses, a wrap around your neck, etc......But not to obstruct any picture taking, gawking, and or any other observational moments when said Lovehammer comes into viewing distance. (More to come later) You mean sort of like this? Maybr Marty's stalking us!

reverse psychology? Nope, won't work for us. We are very strong, very cleaver, very witty, and very much in need of MORE DINO pictures more than he'll ever know.... Ok Ok Ok Lesson 2 for Stalking 101: Always keep your lense cover OFF your camera lens. And if using a cell phone, do it while it looks like your blocking the sun, so as to not look like your actually taking that picture. Lesson 3 to come in the morning

Lesson 3 in Stalking 101:
Never look away QUICK when your spotted by a Lovehammer. Just be as nice as you can be. Smile. And tell them Nancy told you to do it.

Got my ticket to this - I'm flying solo. Also got my ticket to the e-coustic Chicago show. There are a couple of fan girls showing art there, so I figure it would be good to support them, and the musicians playing are fantastic. And of course, I get to stalk Marty.

I got a cellcert about 30 minutes ago. They played Ultrasound, Straight As An Arrow and Trees. It cut out during trees. Not sure who called, but I really really appreciated it. Made my night! It was so unexpected.

Things went great! Luckily I was in the club level, so I was able to sit in the lounge area and not watch the game . There were a few other fans there, too. We had passes to go on to the field after the game for the show. But you had to wind your way around and down some stairs - and there were a few people already in line. Then they finally let us on the field, but stop us half way down while they finish up. But I think they also wanted to get pics of everyone running up to the fence. The stage was pretty high. And the fence was about 6 ft in front of the stage. Marty never got down of the stage, just came up to the front of it. The band was in great form - the bass was really up - Bobby's drums just throbbed through you! I'm usually horrible with the set list, but let me see what I remember (in no particular order). This Town Ultrasound Hold On Tunnel Riddle Straight As An Arrow Trees Guns That cover they've been doing recently - can't remember the name of it. Eyes Can't See And possible 1 other. The show only lasted about 45 minutes. Dino threw MRNW t-shirts into the crowd. . It was a very interesting crowd because it was all ages, so there were a lot of kids and teenagers crowding in - and grabbing for the stuff. No fights that I saw though. Not a huge crowd, but it seemed like quite a few people stayed in the arena for the show. Marty seemed to be doing a great job, but someone said after the show that she thought he was sick - something about not hitting the high notes. But I've noticed lately that he doesn't try for them as much as he used to - he shifts the sound of some songs to a lower pitch sometimes. Probably saves his voice. Took lots of pics. Will get to them tomorrow.
